As one of Britain’s leading rolling stock asset management companies, Angel Trains is proud of its strong relationships with the UK’s Train Operating Companies (TOCs) and open access operators.
Our people are our greatest asset and we pride ourselves on the calibre of talent within our company. We’re proud of our company culture, which values and empowers some of the most skilled people in the industry. Based in London and Derby, we employ 135 professional, technical and administrative staff, graduates and apprentices. With over 45 qualified engineers, our unrivalled team of experts deliver industry-defining asset management programmes for our customers.
Since 1994, we have invested over £5 billion in new rolling stock and the refurbishment of existing fleets, supporting more than 2,500 skilled jobs across the UK. Our expertise lies in our “cradle to grave” approach to asset management, ensuring our fleets deliver their full potential throughout the whole asset lifecycle. This approach has enabled us to procure, finance, and manage a high-quality and diversified portfolio of high-speed trains, regional and commuter passenger multiple-units.
Angel Trains is at the forefront of developing sustainable rolling stock solutions that address the industry-wide challenge of decarbonisation. As part of this, we are working in partnership with Magtec to convert Diesel Multiple Units into low emission self-charging hybrid drives, enabling smarter, quieter and cleaner rail travel.
Angel Trains is committed to delivering and enhancing assets that benefit passenger experience and looks forward to continuing to work with its customers, industry partners and suppliers to invest in and deliver the railway of the future that modern Britain deserves.
